This role will provide support to the Human Resources department for all injury and accident claims. Main responsibility will be investigating and reporting all workers compensation and member incidents. As well as coordinate, implement and improve safety procedures for all Genesis Health Clubs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies
- Identify training needs and conduct training as needed within the clubs
- Maintain safety manuals for all departments
- Report and investigate all workers compensation and member claims
- Track, record and maintain investigation notes for all claims
- Work closely with broker and insurance providers
- Update and file all OSHA and legal forms
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately
- Travel within all Genesis markets
- Perform other duties, functions, and responsibilities as assigned
Expectations:
- Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
- Provide input in developing strategies to support Genesis Health Clubs
- Strong organizations skills
- Time management and personal accountability
Job Requirements:
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Proficient in Microsoft
- Ability to work well with others
- Experience with OSHA reporting and regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time when needed
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to communicate with guests and other associates
