Are you the kind of person who can organize a room full of kids, lead a team, grow a program, and still be willing to wear a silly hat or lead a dance break if the moment calls for it? If so, we want to meet you.
Genesis Health Clubs is looking for a high-energy Youth Director to lead and grow our youth programs — including Summer Camp, Birthday Parties, Parents’ Night Out, special events, and Kids Club operations. This role is perfect for someone who brings initiative, leadership, and creativity to everything they do and loves building programs that kids and families rave about.
This is not a “sit at a desk” job. It’s a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help create unforgettable experiences while also driving the success and growth of our youth programming.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning and execution of youth programming including Summer Camp, Birthday Parties, Parents’ Night Out events, themed activities, and special events.
- Oversee daily Kids Club operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for every child and family.
- Bring energy and creativity to programming — from games and activities to themed events and interactive experiences.
- Help grow participation and revenue by creating programs families are excited to sign up for.
- Recruit, train, and motivate an enthusiastic team of youth staff and seasonal camp counselors.
- Manage department scheduling, payroll approvals, budgeting, and supplies.
- Maintain strong organization and communication systems to support safe, smooth operations.
- Partner with the Regional Youth Director to expand programming, increase participation, and continue building one of the best youth programs in the community.
- Be visible on the floor — connecting with kids, families, and team members every day.

What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of leadership or management experience (youth programs, recreation, camps, or childcare preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs and events at once.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when events or programs require.
