Regional Youth Director

Genesis Health Clubs | Youth Department
Full-Time | Multi-Location Leadership

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a driven, organized, and highly accountable Regional Youth Director (RYD) to lead Youth programming across multiple club locations.

The Regional Youth Director is responsible for the growth, leadership, operational execution, financial performance, and member experience of Genesis Youth programs throughout an assigned region. Programs may include Kids Club, Mighty Camp, Parents’ Night Out, Parents’ Day Out, Birthday Parties, and additional youth and family programming.

We are looking for more than someone who enjoys working with children. We need a multi-site leader who can develop teams, grow programs, manage performance, solve problems proactively, and create consistent on-brand experiences across multiple locations.

This regional position encompasses six Kids Clubs and two Camps across Omaha.

What You’ll Own

Regional Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop Youth Directors, Coordinators, and Youth Team Members throughout the region
  • Build strong leadership benches and seasonal staffing pipelines
  • Provide consistent coaching, accountability, recognition, and leadership support
  • Audit locations regularly to ensure quality execution and brand consistency
  • Build strong partnerships with Club Managers, Regional Managers, families, and team members
Program Growth & Community Development

  • Drive participation and revenue across Youth programming
  • Grow Kids Club, Mighty Camp, Parents’ Night Out, Birthday Parties, and other Youth offerings
  • Develop location-specific marketing and outreach plans
  • Build relationships with schools, HOAs, community organizations, local businesses, and family-focused partners
  • Personally participate in community outreach, tabling, demonstrations, and program promotion
  • Identify new programming opportunities based on local demand and member needs
Mighty Camp Leadership

  • Support preseason planning, enrollment, staffing, training, execution, and end-of-season review
  • Train and develop Camp leaders and seasonal team members
  • Visit Camp locations regularly to reinforce quality, safety, professionalism, and the Mighty Way
  • Ensure family communication, marketing deadlines, open-house initiatives, and enrollment expectations are met
  • Identify performance opportunities and execute plans to improve the Camp experience and financial results
  • In smaller regions, the Regional Youth Director may directly lead the region’s primary Camp during the summer season
Kids Club Operations

  • Ensure safe, welcoming, clean, and on-brand Kids Club experiences
  • Monitor staffing levels and align schedules with actual member usage
  • Review usage, staffing efficiency, operating hours, and reporting compliance
  • Identify low-usage opportunities and develop action plans to improve participation and operational efficiency
  • Ensure locations consistently meet member-experience and operational expectations
Financial & Operational Accountability

  • Own regional KPIs, revenue growth, enrollment, payroll management, and expense performance
  • Monitor staffing efficiency and ensure schedules appropriately reflect usage
  • Maintain accurate registrations, reporting, and operational documentation
  • Identify performance gaps and execute corrective action plans
  • Support accurate pricing, marketing, registration, and promotion of Youth programs
  • Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring immediate action
What Success Looks Like

A successful Regional Youth Director:

  • Builds and develops strong A+ teams
  • Consistently delivers an exceptional experience for children and families
  • Grows Youth participation and revenue
  • Maintains strong operational and reporting compliance
  • Develops future leaders instead of personally solving every problem
  • Anticipates challenges and acts before they become larger issues
  • Leads with ownership, adaptability, sound judgment, and strong partnership
  • Treats every location in the region as their responsibility, regardless of physical proximity
  • Actively promotes programs rather than waiting for members to find them
What We’re Looking For

  • Leadership experience overseeing multiple teams, departments, or locations preferred
  • Experience in youth programming, childcare, camps, recreation, fitness, education, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold leaders accountable
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfort reviewing financial and operational performance data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
  • Availability to support seasonal programs, special events, evenings, and weekends as business needs require
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service
Who We Need

We are looking for someone who sees a struggling program and asks:

“What am I going to do to improve it?”

Someone who can move between coaching a Director, reviewing a staffing model, visiting a Camp, meeting with club leadership, promoting a program in the community, and resolving a member concern — while never losing sight of the bigger regional picture.

This role is an opportunity to own a business within the business: developing people, growing programs, improving operations, and making a measurable impact across an entire region.
