This entry-level marketing position will be responsible for assisting the marketing team with varies marketing projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain various computer application, database management, report generation, and tracking spreadsheets
Assist with managing marketing plans for each department (Personal Training, Group Fitness, Tennis, Aquatics, Pilates, etc…)
Update and maintain brochures and flyers for programming and promotions
Assist with developing social media content for each department
Work with local club reps on social media content and contesting
Manage and improve member communication via e-news, in-club messaging and social media
Work with Club Management teams to schedule and implement successful social events in each market, and brainstorm new creative ideas for social engagement
Promote and grow Genesis GPerks loyalty program in the clubs
Assist Sales Director with quarterly referral campaigns and promotions

Expectations:

Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
Provide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
Ability to prioritize and work under strict deadlines
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members publicly, and assign to appropriate personnel to assist

Job Requirements:

Marketing degree preferred
Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite, major social media platforms, and ability to learn new software products quickly and thoroughly)
Basic graphic design skills useful
Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work well with others and have great team building skills
Experience in social media management useful
Customer service abilities
Available to work weekends and evenings when needed for social events
